Solly March is making waves as he explores a potential free transfer to Crystal Palace, having already visited their training facilities.
During his time at Brighton, March has been a stalwart, gracing the Premier League field 194 times, where he netted 14 goals and chalked up 20 assists. His versatility allows him to operate seamlessly on either flank and even in the wing-back position.
This prospective move might stir strong emotions among Palace supporters, considering March’s deep-rooted history with their fierce rivals, Brighton. Notably, he has put two past Palace in 11 appearances against them.

Newcastle are exploring a move for Benfica right-back Amar Dedic.
The 23-year-old is valued around £25million and has also had interest from Everton.
Born in Austria, Dedic has over 30 caps for Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Manchester City defender Max Alleyne is joining Burnley on a season loan.
The 21-year-old who had a spell on loan at Watford last season is expected to undergo a medical in the next 48 hours and could be in the squad to face West Ham on Sunday.
Palace teen on Portuguese radar
Portuguese top-flight club Alverca – who are owned by Vinicius Jr – are in talks to sign Mofe Jemide on a permanent deal from Crystal Palace.
The imposing centre-back, who signed his first professional contract at Palace in 2023, has represented England at U20 level and had significant loan and permanent interest across Europe.
The 19-year-old trained with Pierre Sage’s first team squad in pre-season and was given minutes during friendlies against Swindon, Bromley, Famalicao and Al Ula.
He has yet to make his competitive senior debut, though, turning out 44 times for Palace’s U21s.

Nottingham Forest have completed the £36million signing of Ousmane Diomande from Sporting Lisbon.
The 22-year-old centre-back has signed a four-year deal with an option for another year.
Diomande said: ‘It is a historic club, and it motivates me to join such a club. I believe we can achieve very good things this season and I am looking forward to meeting the players and head coach.
‘I will give my best and all I can to help the team. I cannot wait to meet the supporters at the City Ground and together we can have a good season.’

Patterson completes Wrexham medical
Sunderland goalkeeper Anthony Patterson has completed a medical ahead of his £8m move to Wrexham.
As Daily Mail Sport revealed yesterday, the 26-year-old has agreed terms on a four-year deal with the Championship club.
Patterson is finalising the paperwork on his contract.
Wrexham are also in talks to sign Leeds United forward Joe Gelhardt in a £4.5m deal.
Hull get their Nobel prize
Hull City have finally agreed their protracted negotiations for Rayo Vallecano defender Nobel Mendy.
The centre back is heading over for his medical after the clubs settled on a £21million fee plus 12.5per cent sell-on clause, while his former club Real Betis receive 20 percent as part of their sell-on.
The 21-year-old Senegal international can play at centre back and left-back.

The 22-year-old has signed a five-year contract, tying him to Craven Cottage until June 2031, with a club option to extend by a further 12 months. Southampton also retain a 20 percent sell-on.
Speaking to FFCtv, Charles, who will wear the number 19 shirt, said: ‘It’s a great club, with a really good vision – the manager explained that to me. To be here is a massive privilege.
‘I hope to really kickstart my Premier League career. At such a good club as well, it’s perfect for me, and hopefully perfect for the fans as well.
‘I’m buzzing to finally get it over the line. The club has got a really good foundation, from the bottom to the top really.’

Brennan Johnson and Dwight McNeil have completed their respective swaps to Everton and Crystal Palace and signed four year contracts.
Johnson, who only joined Palace from Tottenham in January for £35m, told evertontv: ‘I’m so excited to be here. The club speaks for itself – it’s a massive club and one that when I first heard of the interest, I immediately wanted to come and be part of it.

The Belgium international has agreed a two year contract worth around £8.6m a season and has already passed his medical.
