Victor Osimhen reveals Premier League 'dream' amid Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal links

Manchester United have started making plans for the summer to continue their strong revival under Erik ten Hag.

The Red Devils ended their six-year trophy drought with victory in the Carabao Cup over Newcastle last month while talk of a takeover by a Qatari consortium or Sir Jim Ratcliffe rumbles on.

If a takeover were to go through, the spending at Old Trafford could be astronomical as United look to catch up with rivals Manchester City.

So with that in mind, talkSPORT.com has looked at the latest transfer rumours emerging from Old Trafford.

Victor Osimhen

Man United are one of several massive clubs chasing Osimhen, with talkSPORT understanding he is valued at more than £100million.

The 24-year-old has enjoyed an incredible season for Napoli having scored 25 goals across all competitions to spearhead the Serie A giants to the title.

But earlier this month, he indicated that he dreams of playing in the Premier League.

He said: “I think playing in one of the top five leagues in the world (Serie A) is an amazing feeling.

“A lot of people worldwide consider the Premier League as the best and the strongest league, but now I’m in one of the best leagues in the world, which is the Italian Serie A.

“I’m working so hard to make sure that I achieve my dream of playing in the Premier League someday but, like I said, it’s a process and I just want to keep on this momentum and continue to do well.”

Kaoru Mitoma

Mitoma has been a breakthrough sensation in the Premier League for Brighton this season and looks to have all the attributes to become a top player.

The Japanese international has directly contributed to ten goals in 20 top-flight games and the Red Devils are keen on a summer move.

The Sun claim Man United have sent scouts to watch Mitoma several times this year ahead of a potential move.

However, it is unclear just how much Brighton would want for the winger, who they paid just £2.7m for in 2021.

Harry Kane

talkSPORT revealed how the Red Devils are keen to snap up the England captain with Ten Hag desperate to bolster his attack.

The Tottenham star is Spurs’ record goalscorer and has 204 top-flight goals, plus his contract expires in 2024 and he has shown no signs he is willing to sign a new deal.

And The Times claim the north Londoners are willing to part ways with Kane in the summer but want £100m up front.

It remains to be seen if the Red Devils go for that or move on to someone else, but Kane moving to Old Trafford is definitely possible.

Paulo Dybala

Dybala was once considered the next Lionel Messi and looked to have the world at his feet.

However, his career stagnated at Juventus and he joined Jose Mourinho‘s Roma last summer on a free transfer.

Dybala has since enjoyed an excellent season, scoring 13 goals and providing eight assists in 29 games across all competitions and could now be on the move already.

Reports in Italy suggest the World Cup winner is wanted by Man United and Newcastle and has a £10.6m release clause inserted into his deal.

Scott McTominay

One player who could be heading for the exit at Old Trafford is McTominay, with Newcastle keen on the midfielder.

The Daily Telegraph report Eddie Howe is a big fan of the Scotsman and believes he could improve and thrive at St James’ Park.

It’s unclear how much Man United would demand for the academy graduate who has slipped down the pecking order this season.

But if the Toon were to make an offer, it would allow the Red Devils to clear space for more exciting incomings.
