New Zealand will face Australia in the 13th Match, Super 12 Group 1 of the T20 World Cup 2022 at the Sydney Cricket Ground, Sydney on Saturday. The Trans-Tasman match will mark the beginning of the Super 12 round in the marquee event. Aaron Finch will lead the Aussies while Kane Williamson will lead the Kiwis in this World Cup.

New Zealand are currently placed at the fifth spot in the T20 rankings while Australia are at the sixth spot and will be putting their title on defense at home. New Zealand lost to Pakistan in the final of the Bangla Wash Tri-series recently while Australia were defeated 0-2 by England in the T20 series.
