Tom Brady is said to be happy for his ex-wife Gisele Bundchen after the supermodel welcomed her first child with new boyfriend Joaquim Valente. 

Bundchen gave birth to her third baby recently with mom and baby said to be ‘happy and healthy’ per TMZ.

The Brazilian already shares daughter Vivian Lake, 11, and son Benjamin Rein, 15, with ex-husband Brady, 47. The couple announced their divorce in October 2022 after 13 years of marriage.  

It remains unclear when Bundchen welcomed her new bundle of joy with jiujitsu instructor Valente and the gender and name have yet to be revealed.

This is the third child for the Brazilian supermodel who hails from Horizontina, Brazil . Gisele also has daughter Vivian Lake, 11, and son Benjamin Rein, 15, with ex-husband Tom Brady , 47 

The Victoria’s Secret Angel wed Brady in 2009 and divorced in 2022. Along with Benjamin and Vivian, the football player is also father to son, Jack, 17, whom he shares with ex Bridget Moynahan; Tom is seen with the kids on New Year’s Day 

Brady is also father to 17-year-old son Jack, who he welcomed with ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan shortly after their 2006 split.  Bundchen considered herself a ‘bonus’ parent to Brady’s mini-me and they appear to maintain a close relationship even after the Brazilian beauty’s split from the former quarterback. 

Bundchen was first linked to Valente in June 2023, a year after her divorce from Fox Sports color commentator Brady.

The New England Patriots legend was left ‘stunned’ when Bundchen’s pregnancy news broke in October. 

A source previously told DailyMail.com that Brady has been struggling to date as he moves on from the ‘sting’ of Bundchen’s new romance.

‘Finding out Gisele was pregnant stung’, the insider dished to DailyMail.com. ‘Tom had to get out his feelings about it and he did it in his own time.’ 

The source explained that while the strategic advisor kept his cards close to his chest, his feelings were clear to those around him.

‘There’s not a lot of people who see the Tom behind closed doors, but those that do could see he was upset,’ they continued. ‘It was a hard pill to swallow. It was never something he ever thought was going to happen.

It remains unclear when the happy couple welcomed the child but sources for the publication claim it was recent and no gender has also been revealed; she is seen showing off the bump in a January Instagram post

Bundchen’s bombshell pregnancy news was said to sting for the retired NFL quarterback 

‘But she is still the mother of two of his children, so he wants her to be OK. He has to move on and with her pregnant, she has definitely moved on, so he can’t be upset about it anymore.

‘It is out of his control, out of his hands. He is not letting it get to him anymore.’

Brady did not make an official statement on the news but he did share a wistful social media post, quoting Fleetwood Mac’s 1975 song Landslide hours after the news broke. 

‘Oh, mirror in the sky, what is love?’ he wrote alongside a photo of the setting sun.

In November, Brady notably shared a cryptic quote about ‘failing’ and ‘coming short’ in the wake of the pregnancy bombshell.

The quote was from former President Theodore Roosevelt and was seen on a card that the NFL star held up in a social media photo.

And during the 2024 Fortune Global Forum in New York City, he also admitted that he ‘screwed up a lot as a parent.’

A source recently told DailyMail.com how Gisele and Joaquim broke the pregnancy news to Brady.

Brady, who is in the first season of his contract with Fox, is set to called the Super Bowl Sunday 

The model informed Tom that she was expecting her first child with Valente shortly after telling their children because she wanted him to hear it from her first – rather than through media reports.

‘Gisele and Joaquim were not planning to have a child together. This was unexpected. Joaquim has always wanted a family, so she is happy to be able to give this to him.’

‘She knew that he would be a great father when her kids started taking classes with him. He is patient, playful and so understanding,’ the insider stated.

Both Benjamin and Vivian are ‘absolutely thrilled’ over the big news, the source also shared.

Brady, who is in the first season of his $375million, 10-year contract with Fox and recently became a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders, is expected to be in New Orleans this week ahead of Sunday’s Super Bowl.
