Real Salt Lake will host LA Galaxy in a US open Cup quarter-final fixture at America First Field on Wednesday. The hosts reached this far in the competition courtesy of defeating Colorado Rapids 1-0 in the previous round, while LA got the better of their arch rivals and reigning MLS Cup champions Los Angeles FC 2-0. Meanwhile, both sides are heading into the math on the back of Major League Soccer victories, with RSL defeating Austin 2-1 this Saturday, while the visitors got the better of Wednesday’s hosts 3-2 almost a week ago.
