Jack Perry also known as Jungle Boy is an American Pro wrestler who was born on June 16, 1997, in Los Angeles, California. Jungle Boy started his wrestling career in the independent circuit in 2015 where he made his debut at Underground Empire Wrestling. Jungle Boy boasts a different kind of family background coming from a family that’s involved in the film industry. His father is Luke Perry and his grandfather is a novelist and screenwriter Alan Sharp. Allegedly his love for wrestling ignited after he attended the 2009 WWE SummerSlam along with his father.
Jungle Boy’s career
Not much about Jack Perry’s early life is known, other than the fact that he is the son of actor Luke Perry. And allegedly he has been a fan of pro wrestling for a long time. His passion for wrestling ignited after attending the 2009 WWE SummerSlam event along with his father. Most of his early career would see him wrestling in independent circuits under the name Nate Coy.
Perry would later get signed into AEW under the name Jungle Boy in January 2019. Jungle Boy later made his actual debut at AEW’s inaugural event on May 25 where he competed in the Casino Battle Royale but was unfortunately eliminated by Jimmy Havoc. At a later date, he would wrestle against Jimmy Havoc along with MJF and Adam Page during a Fyter Fest event, a match that Adam Page would ultimately win. During a later event Fight for the Fallen on July 13, Jungle Boy teamed up with Luchasaurus in a match against Angelico and Jack Evans as well as The Dark Order in a three-way tag team match, which The Dark Order ultimately won.
Later Jurassic Express would win the AEW World Tag Team Championship from the Lucha Brothers on January 5, 2022. They’d defend their title for almost 161 and finally lose it to Team Taz. At a later date, Jungle Boy would start a feud with Christian Cage who he’d face in an All Out event during September.
Jungle Boy would quickly get eliminated from that match after Luchasaurus attacked him and teamed up with Christian Cage. As revenge, he would start wrestling under his real name Jack Perry and defeat Luchasaurus in a steel cage match. Most recently, Jungle Boy defeated Christian Cage during a Final Burial match during AEW Revolution 2023.
Jungle Boy’s net worth
Jungle Boy has been in the wrestling industry for quite some time and has appeared in numerous high-profile matches against the likes of Adam Page, and Kenny Omega as well as Lucha Brothers, and Christian Cage. All of these matches have surely given him the opportunity to gather some substantial earnings. Currently, Jungle Boy allegedly has an estimated net worth of almost $2 million.
