Luke Wood is an English professional cricketer, he plays the role of a left-arm pacer and represents the national team in all T20 and ODI formats. Wood made instant impacts in Nottinghamshire Premier League cricket and the County’s age-group sides to making his debut in the County Championship when he was just a teenager. On being offered a new contract by Notts in 2019, Wood decided to opt-out mid-season and signed a three-year contract with Lancashire at the end of the 2019 season. Known for his commitment and some fine performances, the left-arm pace is one of the most dangerous bowler in County cricket at the moment with his swing and death bowling skills. A lot of T20 franchises went on to pick him on the side. Wood was bagged by the Melbourne Stars in the Big Bash Lege, he signed a contract with the Trent Rockets in the Hundred and Quetta Gladiators in the Pakistan Super League.
