Speaking on his goals for the 2018 series of Celebrity Masterchef, Josh said: ‘If I could leave this process being able to cook my fiancée a good meal, I think it would do leaps and bounds for my relationship.’

Josh and Chloe married on August 9 at Aynhoe Park in Banbury, Oxfordshire. They got engaged nearly three years prior, during a holiday in Venice together.

Want to get to know Josh a bit better before this series of Celebrity Masterchef unfolds further? Here’s what you need to know.

Who is Josh Cuthbert?

Josh Cuthbert is a British singer and model. He was born on July 28, 1992.

He rose to fame in 2012 when he appeared on X Factor alongside JJ Hamblett, Jaymi Hensley, Casey Johnson and George Shelley.

The latter two have since left Union J.

The band didn’t win X Factor, instead placing fourth. Despite this fact, the band found major success. They’ve released hit songs like Carry You and Beautiful Life.

Union J has even won an award. In 2013 they took home the Best British Breakthrough at the Radio 1 Teen Awards.

Josh invited his bandmates to perform at his wedding. Although he claimed he wouldn’t be taking the stage with them, as he can’t sing when he’s been drinking, he was photographed behind the mic for a time.

‘When I’ve had a drink I can’t hold a note to save my life. I’ve done karaoke and obviously people think I can sing, because I’m in a band, but I can’t then. When I have a drink I can’t function,’ he said.

‘The boys are going to be there (at the wedding) and part of me wants to sing, but part to not and just enjoy the day — I want to have a day off.’

In addition to his musical contributions, Josh does a bit of modelling. He’s represented by Storm Model Management.

Josh Cuthbert fiancée

Josh Cuthbert got engaged to Chloe Lloyd in 2015. They began dating in 2014, according to Metro.

The pair officially tied the knot on August 9. They announced the news on Instagram the day after their nuptials.

Chloe gushed: ‘WE GOT MARRIED YESTERDAY! Wow we’ve just had the best week of our lives.

‘Thank you to our guests who mean the world to us & the team that made the days run so magically and spent the last year with me making our ideas a reality. There are not enough words to thank you all and I’ll forever be grateful. I love you.’

She continued: ‘I feel like the luckiest girl in the world not only for marrying my best friend but for all my amazing crazy friends & family.’

Who went home on Celebrity Master Chef last night?

During the first episode of Celebrity Masterchef, Keith Allen, Michelle Ackerley, Martin Bayfield, Josh Cuthbert and Carol Decker tackled three challenges. Each famous competitor was tasked with outdoing the other in the hopes of continuing on in the competition.

First they had to cook a meal focused on ingredients like minced pork, prawns, fennel, cabbage and pears. Then they were sent off to cook in a real restaurant for paying customers.

Lastly, each celebrity had to whip up a two-course meal the judges could eat.

In the end Michelle was the first to be eliminated.

Speaking on her exit from the show, she said: ‘I’m going out with a smile on my face.

‘I’ve really enjoyed it, I’ve met lots of lovely people, and I wish the rest of the guys the best of luck.’

On Friday’s episode of Celebrity Masterchef, Josh, Keith, Carol and Martin will try once again to impress the judges and stay in the competition.

More contestants will be added to the competition throughout the course of this series’s 12 episodes.
