BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Two search warrants served by the Kern County Sheriff’s Office on Monday resulted in multiple arrests due to alleged drug sales.
On March 3, sheriff’s deputies arrested Alexander Horton, Alina Villarreal and Fidel Melgar-Trujillo after a lengthy narcotics investigation revealed 44,000 fentanyl laced pills, a pound of black tar heroin, cocaine, processed marijuana and hundreds of marijuana plants in a residence, according to KCSO.

The warrants were served at an apartment in the 3000 block of O Street and a residential home in the 300 block of 8th Street.
Sheriff’s deputies say Horton and Villareal were at the apartment and were found in possession of fentanyl, heroin, cocaine and a loaded stolen firearm.
Melger-Trujillo was found at the residence in possession of large amounts of fentanyl pills, heroin, processed marijuana, marijuana plants, U.S currency, and a loaded handgun, according to the Kern County Sheriff’s Office.
Each suspect was arrested under suspicion of various drug and gun charges, according to KCSO.
