A Delta passenger has detailed her disgusting experience on board a flight and the apparent lackluster response from the airline.
Laura Juntgen recently posted a 10-minute video explaining the shocking moment another passenger projectile vomited on her.
She then went on to criticize Delta employees for not offering her much help during or after the incident.
Her viral TikTok about the jarring experience has so far amassed almost 260,000 views and 19,400 likes.
Laura described how she and her daughter were on a flight back from New York City, seated at the rear of the plane next to a storage compartment.
She said the plane taxied for takeoff, and all of a sudden a man walked down the aisle, seemingly trying to go to the bathroom.
However, the flight attendant urged the passenger to return to his seat before the plane left the runway.

‘He doesn’t move, he just stands there and he kind of has this funny look on his face,’ Laura described.
Despite the flight attendant’s repeated requests, the man in question did not return to his seat; instead, Laura observed that he avoided eye contact, gestured towards various directions, and covered his mouth.
Before she could finish saying, ‘Oh my gosh, he’s gonna puke,’ the man projectile vomited all over her and the plane.Â
‘It squirts out the sides because he covers his mouth to catch it, and it goes out the sides.’
She added: ‘It showers down the right side of my body.’
Laura recalled that it was more than ‘just liquid’ in the vomit.
She said it covered her arm, the side of her body, her coat, the armrest, and the seat.
‘My pants start getting wet because it’s seeping under my butt,’ she revealed.Â

She added that the other side of the aisle looked like a ‘waterfall of puke’ covering the storage area.
The flight attendant quickly informed the captain, and the plane turned back toward the terminal so medical and cleaning teams could board.
She said as she sat there soaked in vomit, the flight attendants put on gloves and masks, but were nowhere to be found.
Laura said one eventually came over and handed her ‘two small towelettes and five cocktails napkins.’
She said she was wiping her arm off with her ‘bare hands’ trying not to vomit herself.
After the cleaning crew came on board, Laura and her daughter were relocated to a different section by the flight attendants. However, no further assistance was extended to them, leaving Laura to endure the entire three-hour flight in clothes drenched with liquid.
Laura filed a complaint online with Delta and waited about a week and a half before getting what she described as a ‘textbook response.’
They also offered her a $120 credit for her inconvenience.
Following her video, Laura said she received a phone call from a Delta agent addressing her complaint who claimed there was nothing further they could do (stock image)
‘Who in their right mind would agree to let someone puke on them then scoop it with their hands and a towelette and then sit wet in puke for three hours on a flight for a $120 credit?’ she questioned.

A Delta spokesperson told the Daily Mail: ‘We apologize to the customer for their experience. Our Customer Care team reached out to the customer for a resolution.’Â
People were horrified by Laura’s story and rushed to the comments.
‘I’m not kidding, I’d never fly again,’ someone wrote.
‘I would have to be sedated,’ said another.
‘You’re better than me. I would have caused a SCENE,’ a user admitted.
‘I’m not even exaggerating when I say this is my WORST nightmare,’ another shared.
‘Not to be dramatic or anything but this would traumatize me for life,’ another TikTok user wrote.Â
A few people reflected on how they would react due to their emetophobia.
Emetophobia is the irrational fear of vomiting or seeing others vomit.Â
‘As someone with emetophobia, this is my literal worst nightmare and I probably would have passed away,’ someone stated.
‘I have emetophobia and if this happens to me, my screams would be the medical emergency,’ a user commented.
Another read: ‘I would have been screaming as if someone was stabbing me’
‘As an emetophobic person, I cannot stress how very much this is my WORST NIGHTMARE. Like, I would be in a full-blown panic attack,’ a third wrote.Â
