Meghan Markle fan claims she suffered burns from bath salts recipe, threatens lawsuit

Complicated as ever.

A woman is considering legal action against Meghan Markle, seeking $10 million in damages, claiming she suffered severe burns from using a bath salts recipe created by Markle.

Robin Patrick, who has diabetes, disclosed to RadarOnline that she tested the DIY mixture Markle, aged 43, crafted as a gift for makeup artist Daniel Martin on the show “With Love, Meghan” on Netflix.

Patrick recounted combining Epsom salt, Himalayan salt, arnica oil, and lavender oil from the bath salts recipe into warm bathwater, leading to the alleged burns she experienced. Pictures of Patrick’s injuries were published in the RadarOnline report.

“As the water level rose to cover my legs and reached my buttocks, I began to feel burning and significant discomfort in those areas,” she claimed. “I immediately exited the tub, stopped the water, and later stirred the bathwater with my right hand and arm to assess the mixture. This resulted in additional burning sensations on my hand and arm.”

Patrick said that applying Gold Bond lotion didn’t help her alleged burns. When she showered that night, she allegedly “experienced intense burning as water contacted the affected areas, which had developed into ulcers.”

“To date, the burns are still not healed and are quite uncomfortable. The others are just sore as heck to touch,” Patrick claimed, adding that she’s “endured persistent burning, discomfort, and the emergence of new blister-like sores and ulcers daily.”

Patrick further claimed that her burns “have disrupted my daily and nightly routines” and is “deeply concerned about the risk of infection” because of her autoimmune condition.

Patrick said that if she doesn’t receive financial settlement, she plans to file a lawsuit demanding a “minimum” of $75,000 to cover medical expenses related to treatments for the alleged burns and more.

In addition, she’s allegedly seeking $10 million from Markle, Netflix, and the duchess and Prince Harry’s Archewell Productions for their “reckless disregard for public safety and to deter similar conduct in the future.”

The Post has reached out to Markle’s reps for comment.

According to RadarOnline, an alleged letter to the parties Patrick is threatening to sue reads, “These damages account for emotional distress, potential post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), loss of confidence in appearance, disfigurement, shortened life expectancy, and long-term medical care for injuries that may worsen over time.”

In response, Markle’s lawyer, Cameron Stracher, said Patrick has no case against them and that she should’ve known the risks of diabetic people using Epsom salts.

“There can be no negligence claim against anyone involved in the production or distribution of the series,” Stracher reportedly said.
