Upon investigation, authorities discovered a revolver and a small handgun outfitted with a distinctive laser light within the suspect’s hotel room. This individual, now labeled as a “person of interest” in this alarming case, has drawn significant attention from law enforcement officials.
According to CNN, when questioned about his whereabouts on Saturday, the suspect insisted he had remained in his room for the entire day. However, the special laser on the handgun was instrumental in helping investigators pinpoint his involvement, sources informed The Post.
The man, identified as being in his 20s, was apprehended early Sunday morning at a hotel in Coventry, Rhode Island. Officials reported that law enforcement officers knocked on his door, demanding he open it, leading to his arrest.
