Influencer Alix Earle has been roasted after she described a skin-baring outfit as a ‘mom picking her kids up from school’ look.

The Gen Z TikTok content creator, known for her ultra-glam yet racy style, hit a nerve when she said that a revealing look that she’d chosen to wear to a Miami Dolphins game made her ‘feel like a mom picking up her kids from school.’

As demonstrated in a new TikTok, Alix, 22, paired a skin-tight, sleeveless orange bodysuit with distressed Levi’s denim shorts, and accessorized with white stilettoes and a mini Jimmy Choo purse.

For Alix, the sporty excursion came just days after she confirmed that she was dating Dolphins wide receiver Braxton Berrios, 28, whom she was first romantically linked to this past summer.

Alix’s comment that the outfit made her ‘Feel like a mom picking up her kids from school’ instantly raised the eyebrows of real-life TikTok moms

Aptly, she’d envisioned the whole outfit as ‘revolving’ around an aqua and orange ‘Miami Football’ baseball cap from Amazon.

What threw viewers off was when the influencer, while flaunting the complete look for the camera, quipped that she felt like a mom ‘picking up her kids from school.’

‘I don’t know why a mom would be dressed like this to pick her kids up from school, but that’s what I’m gonna be dressed like,’ the New Jersey native added. 

‘You’re doin’ great, sweetie!’ she ended the one-minute video in a mock ‘New Jersey mom’ accent.

While Alix – who shot to fame for her ‘Get Ready With Me’ TikToks – imagined her outfit doubling as a chic ‘mom’ getup, real mothers couldn’t help but poke fun at the idea of dressing up like the influencer while ushering their kids to and from school.

‘The picking up her kids from school sent me bc (because) I drop off in my morning sweatshirt and pick up in my afternoon sweatshirt lol,’ one mom commented.

‘No moms wear this to pickup and drop off… we all our in sweats,’ a second agreed.

‘Idc if it’s 10 years from now. I’m gunna need you to stitch this wearing the sweatshirt you haven’t washed in days when you have a kid,’ a third chimed in. 

‘Alix my love us moms are fighting for our lives at pickup,’ a fourth reality-checking mom wrote.

‘I thought I’d look like that too when I picked up my kids from school. However I look like Adam Sandler,’ a fifth teased.

Several moms even stitched Alix’s post so as to highlight the stark contrast between the influencer’s styled look and realistic ‘picking up the kids’ attire.

A TikToker who goes by the handle @justblamemom shared a video, playing side-by-side with Alix’s, of her dragging herself out of bed, clipping up her hair and throwing on a sweatshirt and Birkenstocks to demonstrate how she gets ready to shuttle her children to and from school. 

The content creator then gives a deadpan shrug before lethargically shuffling out of frame.

Another TikTok mom Steph, whose handle is @nameswithsteph, proudly showed off the faded green Henley top and plain jeans she’d donned for her mom-related chores that day.

A third self-described TikTok mom, Amanda Gomez of @thatmama_amanda, superimposed her own image over Alix’s video – revealing herself to be wearing a ratty, grey sweatshirt and matching sweatpants.

As Alix whipped out her white stilettoes, Amanda showed off the flat, worn-down Ugg-brand slippers she’d be matching with her look. 

When Alix declared she felt like a mom picking up her kids from school, Amanda, facing her camera, emphatically mouthed the word: ‘No.’
