Amy Schumer recently took to Instagram to flaunt her impressive weight loss transformation, attributed to her use of the medication Mounjaro. In the photos shared last Saturday, she notably appeared without her wedding ring, sparking interest among fans.

The 44-year-old comedian has managed to achieve her leanest look in years, crediting the popular GLP-1 agonist drug, which she started using earlier this year, for helping her reduce her 5-foot-7 frame.

In the striking images, Schumer donned a chic beige Valentino mini-dress. The outfit, accentuated with a strip of ruffles and bows, was paired with stylish black sling-back pumps, expertly selected by her stylist, Brenda Tolentino.

Adding to her glamorous look, Schumer, an investor in Midi Health, received a facial from Georgia Louise. Her transformation was further enhanced by make-up artist Gita Bass, who skillfully contoured her refined complexion.

To top it all off, hairstylist Jae Manuel Cardenas styled Schumer’s iconic blonde hair, completing the look for her at-home photo session. The ensemble and styling certainly highlighted her newfound confidence and striking appearance.

Joining the Emmy-winning producer on the staircase of her Manhattan home was her six-year-old son Gene Fischer, whose face was concealed with emojis.

Schumer – who boasts 16.5 million social media followers – captioned her Instagram slideshow: ‘Trying to go to the party but someone won’t go to bed.’

Noticeably missing was the native New Yorker’s elusive husband of seven years, Chris Fischer who, like her, doesn’t always wearing his wedding band. Schumer doesn’t seem to always wear the band, and has been seen without it numerous times over the years. 

‘Amy is 100 percent getting divorced. She got skinny, she is over it,’ a close friend claimed to the Daily Mail on November 13.

‘Chris is mostly out of the house at this point. They’ve listed two homes now, in Brooklyn and New Orleans. She deleted Chris from Instagram then deleted everything else. She’s going to file soon, but it’s over. Done.’

Shortly before wiping her Instagram account, Schumer had Instastoried that ‘Chris and I are still married’ while praising Hulu’s new show about divorce attorneys, All’s Fair – according to People.

The Room to Move producer originally met the 45-year-old chef – who has Asperger’s Syndrome – through her personal assistant (his sister) just five months before they tied the knot.

Schumer and Fischer enlist a nanny called Jane and they have three frozen embryos to eventually provide a sibling, via surrogate, for little Gene.

Following a ‘horrible experience’ being bedridden on Ozempic in 2022, the Kinda Pregnant producer-star gushed on April 9: ‘I’m loving being on Mounjaro and I haven’t found that it’s affected anything [side effects wise].’

The FDA has only approved three GLP-1 drugs specifically for weight loss – the semaglutide Wegovy, the liraglutide Saxenda and the tirzepatide Zepbound – and the rest are specifically for patients suffering from type 2 diabetes.

The Love Island US guest star – who’s a notorious joke stealer – originally got her start in 2007 coming in fourth place on the fifth season of NBC’s Last Comic Standing.

Schumer is also the second cousin of Senator Chuck Schumer.
