'hopefully sent back to Somalia soon'

“Lefty” by nickname only!

Famous professional golfer Phil Mickelson strongly criticized Democratic Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar after she reiterated her contentious remarks about Charlie Kirk.

“Ilhan expresses hate every time she speaks; she came here dishonestly and will, with hope, be sent back to Somalia soon,” Mickelson wrote on X on Saturday.

Mickelson’s post was a reaction to a video showing the “Squad” member standing by her bold comments about Charlie Kirk from the previous week, in which she likened him to “Dr. Frankenstein,” noting he was “killed by his monster.”

“What I find jarring,” Omar said on CNN in response to mild pushback from CNN’s Kaitlan Collins, “Is that there’s so many people willing to excuse the most reprehensible things that he said, that they agree with that, that they’re willing to have monuments for him, that they want to create a day to honor him, and that they want to produce resolutions in the house of Congress honoring his life and legacy.”

And she wasn’t done verbally tarnishing the legacy of the conservative influencer who will be remembered at a massive funeral service on Sunday which will be attended by President Trump.

“I am not going to sit here and be judged for not wanting to honor any legacy this man has left behind, that should be in the dustbin of history, and we should hopefully move on and forget the hate that he spewed every day,” the controversial rep stated.

The three-time Masters Tournament winner, who generally posts about sports and finance on X, has been posting continuously about Kirk regularly since the assassination in Utah on September 10, his profile shows.

On Wednesday, he even reposted South Carolina Republican Rep. Nancy Mace’s invective post directed at Rep. Omar stemming from the former military cadet attempting to censure the immigrant congresswoman in the House of Representatives in retaliation for her previous comments on Kirk.

“We would love to see you deported back to Somalia next,” Mace wrote on Wednesday in a post that was shared by Mickelson.

The golfer known as “Lefty” posted the previous day “More of this please,” in a post sharing an interview with Mace speaking about the censure of Omar.

Mickelson’s harsh words for Ilhan Omar come just days after she barely withstood a House floor vote led by Rep. Nancy Mace that would have censured the Minnesota congresswoman for her vitriolic comments about Kirk.
