Antonio Brown targeted Caitlin Clark with another crass remark as he addressed his feud with the WNBA star during an interview with Jason Whitlock.

The ex-NFL player, known for his controversial remarks towards Tom Brady previously, sparked anger in the last month with a comment about Clark’s appearance, suggesting she doesn’t groom.

He persisted in his criticism of the top draft pick, posting a series of insults on various social media platforms, including a disrespectful meme about Clark’s partner. This behavior led to Clark blocking the former player on social media, a move made by the 22-year-old in response.

Initially, the former wide receiver showed signs of regret for his actions when prompted by Whitlock during an interview on the sports columnist’s podcast to address his remarks towards Clark.

Brown began by praising Clark for her impact on women’s sports before ruining the moment with another taunt.

‘Caitlin Clark, we love you,’ Brown began. ‘There’s no drama here. I’m excited about what you’re going to do for women’s basketball. You’re an amazing player. I love to watch your game, You bring a lot of excitement and energy.’

‘CTESPN would love to have you talk, especially [about] what you deal with, your traumas, your adversities, how you continue to be great,’ he continued, referring to his CTESPN Podcast.

‘People like me in the media bringing awareness to you, whether in the wrong or the right, it’s all in positivity, it’s all in fun and games.

‘Continue to be great continue to be focused on being the best athlete you want to be. Continue to lead women’s sports and pioneering it the way you want to pioneer it. I have a daughter, I look up to you, I look up to everything you guys are doing.

‘So shout out to you Caitlin Clark… and if it’s hairy don’t worry about it.’

Whitlock could only let out an exasperated sigh and shake his head at Brown’s final remark, which was a reference to his tweet about Clark that caused backlash.

The internet provocateur sparked outrage last month with a series of offensive tweets about Clark’s appearance.

The WNBA top-pick quickly blocked Brown for his antics, with his tweet about how Clark ‘looks like she keep it hairy’ causing particular offense.

But the receiver didn’t let up, also calling her his ‘Cracker of the Day’ and ‘Cousin It’ – a nod to an Addams Family character.

It’s far from the first time that Brown has been blocked for unpleasant remarks – with legendary quarterback Tom Brady and President Joe Biden restricting the ex-Pittsburgh Steeler from their timelines.

However, it didn’t stop Brown from continuing to relentlessly attacking Clark on social media as he returned again with more insults after she blocked him.

The controversial former footballer claimed Clark will get plastic surgery when she starts making more money through the WNBA.

He also posted a crass meme referring to Clark’s boyfriend before following up with a tweet seemingly addressing the outrage that said: ‘Cant be cancelled if you already cancelled.’

Hours later, he said Clark should play in the NBA instead of the women’s equivalent.

‘I’ll say it again for the haters,’ he wrote. ‘Caitlin Clark should be a NBA Draft pick. Draft is weak. She is a generational talent This would be the year.’

Meanwhile, Whitlock has shared his fair share of controversial takes on the WNBA in recent weeks, comparing Clark to Jesus and LeBron James.

‘I’m happy for Caitlin Clark, there’s part of me that thinks she’s going to be a force for good, or she can be a force for good,’ Whitlock said on his ‘Fearless’ podcast last month.

‘But then I remember: so what is idolatry? We’re looking for a LeBron James or Caitlin Clark to do what Jesus can only do. And we start thinking they’re more important than than the truth. They’re more important, and protecting them, and protecting their image is the most important thing we can do.’

Last week, he claimed the WNBA was becoming more feminine as he took aim at veteran Brittney Griner.

Whitlock suggested Griner is attempting to rebrand herself and distance herself from her previous ‘anti-American’ stances following her release from a Russian prison to try to reposition herself within the evolving WNBA.

‘She was very anti-American before sitting in a Russian prison for eight months and maybe that’s all the conversion these hard-core leftists need,’ Whitlock said on his podcast.

‘But I don’t buy it. I think she’s trying to reposition herself. The WNBA is starting to go more feminine and go more likeable.

‘I’ve even seen a buddy of mine sent me pictures yesterday of some LA Sparks players at, I think, an NBA game and it looked like a beauty contest.

‘[…] I think they’re intentionally going, “we don’t want the best players, we want the most feminine players.”

‘And it’s the right call. I’m telling you because none of the ladies play such an exciting game of basketball beyond two or three of them that getting someone who looks feminine is better for marketing and selling tickets than getting someone who might play 10 or 15 percent better.

‘And so I see the WNBA pivoting away from Britney Griner. And this book and this interview tour is about trying to make Brittany Griner likable, because she’s been very unlikable.’
