AOC ridiculed for bizarre take on Elon Musk's intelligence

Controversial Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has been ridiculed for an extraordinary claim that Elon Musk is the ‘most unintelligent’ billionaire she’s met.

Musk is behind the SpaceX push to get humans to Mars, founded Tesla, OpenAI and Neurolink and is the world’s richest man.

In spite of his laundry list of achievements, left-wing New York City Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez maintains that he is unintelligent.

‘This dude is probably one of the most unintelligent billionaires I have ever met or seen or witnessed,’ the 35-year-old said on Instagram.

‘This dude is not smart, and the danger in the lack of intelligence and the lack of expertise that Elon has, I mean, this guy is one of the most morally vacant but also just least knowledgeable about these systems that we know of.’

Her criticism stems from Musk’s appointment as a ‘special government employee’ after developing a close friendship with President Donald Trump during the last election campaign.

He’s now earned himself the title of ‘First Buddy’ and has set to work demolishing government institutions as part of his work with the newly created Department of Government Efficiency.

Biographer Walter Isaacson previously said Musk is, contrary to Ocasio-Cortez’ statement, a ‘genius when it comes to material properties [and] engineering.’

He went on to say Musk is not as well equipped dealing with ‘human emotions.’

And employees of Musk’s over the years have always praised his smarts, recalling that he would float from department to department, helping to solve engineering problems rapidly before moving on.

Now, he’s seemingly taken a similar approach to his new role at DOGE, sparking uproar and chaos within departments that have found themselves on the chopping block.

There are fears he is rapidly consolidating control over large swaths of the federal government with President Donald Trump’s blessing.

Career government officials have found themselves sidelined and in some cases entirely cast out while Musk and his team of college-aged new hires gain access to sensitive databases.

Six young men aged between 19 and 25 have been hand picked by Musk to help him with DOGE, so far dismantling a leading source of humanitarian assistance, USAID.

Republicans defend Musk as simply carrying out Trump’s slash-and-burn campaign promises.

‘Elon can’t do and won’t do anything without our approval,’ Trump told reporters in the Oval Office on Monday.

‘Where we think there’s a conflict or there’s a problem, we won’t let him go near it, but he has some very good ideas.’

Ocasio-Cortez, meanwhile, has been furiously opposed to Trump’s return to the White House and Musk’s involvement in government affairs.

She said that billionaires were basically lining up behind Trump and trying to show their ‘fealty’ to him.

She also warned Americans that the people in charge of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and X were essentially ‘working for Trump.’

‘We have elected the foxes to run the hen house,’ she said. ‘What Zuckerberg and Bezos, and all these people sitting behind them, they don’t just represent billionaires, they represent all of the communication platform that people use in the United States.’

Minnesota Representative Ilhan Omar also lashed Elon Musk on Tuesday after he shared what she claims was a doctored video of her and told his millions of X followers that she was ‘breaking the law.’

He shared the video from another creator, who had written: ‘Ilhan Omar is conducting seminars for Somalians who are living illegally in the U.S. without documentation, providing guidance on how to evade deportation.’

Musk added his own caption, writing: She is breaking the law. Literally. Outright.’

Omar was later forced to defend herself, writing: ‘Maybe you should brush up on our laws given the fact you’re breaking them to steal American’s sensitive data.

‘PS. This video is manipulated, and I wasn’t even at the event shown.

‘Hey Elon, Every single person in this country deserves to know their rights. That’s legal.’
