The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.
Apple Martin, the 21-year-old daughter of Gwyneth Paltrow and her former husband Chris Martin, is stepping into the fashion world with her first significant partnership, collaborating with Self-Portrait.
On Tuesday, the London-based label named the burgeoning fashion star as the face of the brand, sharing the announcement via Instagram Reel.
Self-Portrait, in collaboration with Martin, who operates a private Instagram account, posted a video featuring Apple and labeled it, “Our new Miss self-portrait.”
Wearing a $190 white T-shirt featuring “Self-Portrait” in dark blue letters, Apple introduces herself, saying, “It’s me, Miss Apple Blythe Alison Martin, here from the floor in a gorgeous Self-Portrait baby tee with these adorable earrings.”
She continued with a huge smile on her face, “I’m so excited to be the new Miss Self-Portrait, and for the campaign to come out.”
Martin brought her enthusiasm to the comment section, writing, “I am so excited! And so so grateful for this opportunity. Thank you so much ❤️”
According to a press release, the collaboration will evolve over the coming months with a series of portraits, films and activations slated through the end of the year.
Following the first clip, the brand posted a photo of the emerging It girl, clad in another white baby tee ($190) featuring a red logo, with the caption “Welcome to the family @applemartin“
Martin hinted at her new fashion partnership on Sept. 2, strolling around the campus at Vanderbilt University, where she’s studying law, history and society, in the same white and red cropped tee from the aforementioned Instagram post.
The college sophomore looked equal parts cool and casual, styling the top with low-rise straight-leg jeans, black bow-adorned ballet flats and coordinating sunglasses.
