Seven Floridians were arrested over the course of the investigation, authorities said Monday in Tampa.

TAMPA, Fla. — WARNING: The following story includes details on a child sex abuse case. Reader discretion is advised.

On Monday, Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) Commissioner Mark Glass joined Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier and other authorities in Tampa to announce arrests in an international child sexual abuse case.

Seven Floridians, including one from Clearwater and another from Lakeland, were among the eight arrested in the ring, authorities said during Monday’s presser. Two people, ringleader Mehmet Bozuyuk of Turkey and Ximena Del Real Maqueda of Portland, Oregon, have outstanding warrants.

The following people are being charged with multiple felony counts, including RICO, money laundering and purchase of child pornography.

  • Krunalkumar Modi – Cliffwood, New Jersey
  • Brett Moore – Orange City, Florida
  • Brett Snodderly- Clearwater, Florida
  • Frankie Pineiro Jr. – Groveland, Florida
  • Michael Warden – Kissimmee, Florida
  • Jacob Conly – Fern Park, Florida
  • Kody Jordan-Muti – Palm Bay, Florida
  • Israel Thompson – Lakeland, Florida

Uthmeier added that FDLE investigators uncovered over a million videos “showing sexual abuse on minors” being sold around the world.

“Many of these individuals were babies,” Uthmeier said. “There is not a word in the English dictionary that can describe the gross content that was on the videos.”

“The faces you see there are faces of evil,” Glass said as he gestured to the suspects’ mugshots.

Uthmeier added that the majority of the suspects purchased the content through TikTok, as they found access to a portal where they could purchase the “dangerous material.”

“It’s taken too long for them (TikTok) to get some of this pornographic material and avenues to purchase harder, more gross content… we’ve got to get them to be more accountable,” Uthmeier said.

FDLE Special Agent in Charge Mark Brutnell provided details on the investigation, which started in July 2024.

Brutnell said an undercover agent was directed to a website called “tributeprintedpics.com.” That agent was able to gain access to 1.2 million videos and pictures of “some of the most egregious, disgusting content” Brutnell’s agency had seen.

“I read the affidavits, and it makes me sick,” Brutnell said.

Within a week after that discovery, FDLE and the attorney general’s office issued a seizure warrant on the website, shutting it down. Brutnell added that the investigation took off following Modi’s arrest in New Jersey, as they were able to track down the leader of the ring, Mehmet Bozuyuk of Turkey.

“Mr. Mehmet was very deliberate in hiding his identity,” Brutnell said. “He really, really believed that he could outsmart us. But, at the end of the day, he didn’t.”

A warrant has been issued for Bozuyuk’s arrest, and FDLE is working with Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) to have him extradited to Florida.

“You’ve got my word that in this state, we are going to do everything we can to hold these people accountable,” Uthmeier said. “If you are a child predator… I hope you never see the sun again.”
