“High School Musical” fans were shocked to discover Ashley Tisdale is almost 40 years old.

The former Disney star, 39, posted a close-up video of her age-defying skin to her TikTok account Tuesday.

She posted a video with a caption comparing her expectations of her appearance at 40 with the reality. In the video, she used a face filter to simulate wrinkles and eye bags.

Tisdale then removed the filter to reveal her real complexion, which appeared smooth and wrinkle-free.

In another post, she remarked on feeling youthful despite nearing 40 years old. The post featured a video set to DJ Kool’s 1996 hit “Let Me Clear My Throat” and has gained over 8 million views.

Fans of the actress’s 2006 movie flooded the comments section to express their shock at her age.

“Sharpay Evans will never age,” one person commented on the post, referring to Tisdale’s character in the trilogy.

“FOURTY? Girl you were just in high school musical yesterday ???” a second person chimed in.

“You are still 25 to me. Because if you’re 25, I’m still 15 😂 I am not entering my 30s, no sorry,” a netizen joked.

“OUR QUEEN NEVER AGEDS [sic] !!!!!” a fan exclaimed.

“40s are the new 30s,” someone else noted, with another gushing, “YOU DIDN’T AGE A DAMN DAY.”

Tisdale will celebrate her 40th birthday July 2.

Since her time as a young actress on “Suite Life of Zack & Cody,” she has transitioned significantly, tying the knot with Christopher French in Santa Barbara, California, back in September 2014.

The couple welcomed their first child, daughter Jupiter Iris, in March 2021.

Tisdale revealed in March 2024 that their family was going to expand as she announced her pregnancy with baby No. 2.

Their second daughter, Emerson Clover, was born in September.
