The tech company whose CEO was caught in a purported affair with the head of HR on a “kiss cam” at a Coldplay concert has announced on Friday that they are initiating an investigation into the awkward incident. It appears this intimate relationship was not known to the board of the company.

“At Astronomer, we are dedicated to upholding the values and culture that have directed us since our inception. We expect our leaders to exemplify the highest standards of conduct and accountability,” stated the tech-and-data firm.

“The Board of Directors has initiated a formal investigation into this matter and we will have additional details to share very shortly.”

The scene involved Astronomer’s CEO Andy Byron and the company’s chief human resources officer, Kristin Cabot, hastily covering their faces when they appeared on a jumbotron sharing a moment at Gillette Stadium near Boston on Wednesday night.

“Oh, what?” lead singer Chris Martin said with confusion on stage, according to TikTok footage. “Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy.”
