WEST HOLLYWOOD, CALIF. — Biohacking is a multi-billion-dollar industry, but you don’t have to flash a lot of cash to see results.

Julie E Health, a holistic health expert, claims that you can detoxify and boost your energy levels in a mere two minutes using only your hands.

“This is one of my favorite tools,” Julie told the audience at last week’s Biohackers World conference. “There are a few things that work across the board for everybody, and we’re going to do one right now.”

Julie E Health demonstrated her “tap-and-swipe” technique at last week’s Biohackers World conference.

Dozens of people got out of their chairs to tap their bodies like they were beating the dust out of an outdoor sofa cushion and then swipe their limbs as if to brush away sand from a day at the beach.

The “tap-and-swipe” technique works like this — you tap four fingers (not the thumb) from each hand against your body, starting at your head and breathing out as you go. After you are done tapping, use your hand to brush your shoulder and then the rest of your body.

These movements are supposed to clear physical and emotional blocks caused by stress, injuries and daily life to stimulate circulation, improve lymph drainage and restore natural energy flow. The exhaling helps to release the toxins.

“All my clients do this twice a day, just like you brush your teeth,” Julie said. “This is your workout for your organs.”

Julie was the head nutritionist at Chelsea Piers Sports Center — now she practices functional medicine and holistic nutrition in Southern California.

She told The Post that she developed the tap-and-swipe method through her work assessing her clients’ energy imbalances.

“I noticed that when clients tapped on areas of weakness — like the liver or small intestine, for example — those areas often tested stronger afterward, and clients felt better, especially when they added a strong exhale,” Julie said.

“The tapping activates and stirs energy (yang), while the swiping soothes and clears it (yin),” she added. “Together, they create a fast and powerful shift in how people feel.”

At the conference, participants indicated they felt light, happy, energized, calm, soothed and awake.

Tips for successfully tapping and swiping

  • Perform the move near a window or door — don’t do it in your bedroom or relaxation space. “The goal is to fully release what you’re letting go of, allowing it to leave your personal space and energetic field completely,” Julie said.
  • Exhale more than you think you need to — it helps deepen the release.
  • Four fingers are better than two because they cover more surface area and create a more efficient energetic reset. Use a fist for your back.
  • Tap firmly enough to engage the underlying tissue, similar to the pressure of a scalp massage, but without pain or discomfort. “My East Coast clients often tap with intense, fast energy — like ‘go go go!’ — while my West Coast clients tend to tap much more gently,” Julie said.
  • Imagine you are coloring in the lines — try not to miss any spots, including the top and bottom of the feet, the sides and under the jaw and behind the ears.
  • Focus on the groin and armpits, which store a significant amount of toxicity and stagnant energy.
  • Note any tender spots, so you can apply appropriate remedies later. “I liken this technique to the concept of the ‘breast self-exam’ — but in this case, it’s a modern-day, full-body self-diagnostic tool,” Julie said. “People can often address health issues before they fully develop.”
  • Tap when you have a headache.
  • Yawning is a sign of traffic jams opening, so never interrupt a yawn to talk.
  • Have kids do this at bedtime to calm them down.

Julie, who wrote “The No Diet Diet,” said she reversed her cellular age to that of a 12-year-old through personalized wellness strategies and biohacks.

She has a host of DIY tips on her site, including spending at least 15 minutes every day barefoot on grass, sand, dirt or in the ocean to recharge yourself and repeating positive mantras to combat stress and self-sabotage.
