2 taken to hospital from police scene in Jacksonville's Phoenix neighborhood, officials say

One person was in critical condition, and another had non-life-threatening injuries, according to the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Two people were taken to the hospital Monday evening from a police scene in the city’s Phoenix neighborhood, according to the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department.

A JFRD spokesperson said two people were taken to the hospital after an incident on 10th Street and Phoenix Avenue.

One person was in critical condition, and another had non-life-threatening injuries, according to JFRD. The spokesperson cannot confirm how the victims sustained their injuries.

First Coast News reached out to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, who said officers are working an active investigation in the area. No other details were immediately released.
