In TUCSON, Ariz., the FBI has unveiled photographs related to the ongoing investigation into Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance, featuring an individual labeled as a “subject” by authorities.
FBI Director Kash Patel shared these images on the social media platform X, depicting a masked figure near the entryway of the Guthrie residence.
“For the past eight days, the FBI, in conjunction with the Pima County Sheriff’s Department, has collaborated with private sector allies to retrieve any lost, corrupted, or otherwise inaccessible footage from Nancy Guthrie’s home. This includes efforts to restore content affected by the removal of recording devices,” Patel elaborated.
“Through the recovery of residual data from backend systems, we have, with our partners, unearthed previously inaccessible images. These reveal an armed person seemingly interfering with the front-door camera on the morning Nancy Guthrie vanished,” he added.
Nancy Guthrie, 84, is notably the mother of NBC’s “Today” show host, Savannah Guthrie. She has been missing since February 1st, a Sunday.
So far, no suspects have been named in the case.Â
