Nicole Eggert has recently shared some uplifting news regarding her health, providing her fans with a positive update on her breast cancer battle.

The former actress, now 53, revealed that two years after being diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer, she’s in high spirits following new test results from her doctor. Eggert expressed her excitement by describing herself as “rocking out and celebrating.”

In a vibrant Instagram Story posted on Tuesday, she was seen joyously singing and dancing along to Missy Elliot’s 2002 hit “Work It” while seated in her car, clearly invigorated by the good news.

Just a week prior, the actress, known for her pageant beginnings and television fame, was spotted out and about looking radiant and healthy. This comes after she underwent a mastectomy, breast reconstruction, and chemotherapy.

Eggert candidly shared with her followers the stress of undergoing monthly blood tests. However, with a bright smile, she announced that her latest results came back “clear,” bringing her much-needed relief and joy.

‘Not everyone realizes how stressful cancer recovery is,’ she wrote over the clip. ‘Every month there are blood tests and then you go in to get those results. Every. Single. Month.’

‘So that changes your life going forward,’ she continued before sharing a positive health update.

‘Today my tests were clear and my white blood cell count was up without those d*** blood injections,’ she wrote. ‘And I am in my car rocking out and celebrating! Let’s go!!!!’

She was previously diagnosed with stage 2 cribriform carcinoma breast cancer in December 2023.

Months before she received her diagnosis for the rare and invasive form of breast cancer, she had been experiencing ‘terrible pain’ in her left breast.

She also previously shared that she gained 25 pounds over the course of just three months.

The actress said she first attributed her symptoms to menopause, but when she performed a self-check and felt a lump in her breast, she ‘immediately’ called her doctor.

Three months after receiving her diagnosis in February 2024, she disclosed that more cancer had been discovered in her lymph nodes and expressed regret that she did not check her breasts herself earlier.

‘The self-exams, I’m telling you, I kick myself. That’s the one thing I should have been doing,’ she said during an interview with Inside Edition.

Eggert recalled that when she received her diagnosis, her ‘heart dropped, I lost all hearing, everything sank. It’s named invasive cribriform carcinoma. It’s very rare.’

This comes after Eggert admitted she ‘freaks out’ because of what her body has gone through but maintained an positive perspective.

In a post from November 11, she penned the following caption alongside a pensive selfie. ‘Some days I freak out on what my body has gone thru,’ she wrote. ‘And then I remember how she showed up for me. And keeps showing up for me. So I put all my faith in her hands. She’s got this.’

While reflecting on her breast cancer journey, she also said she is a ‘better version of myself now.’

‘I wasted a lot of time living in fear of the unknown and stressing about things we can’t control, I have such a different view on everything now,’ she said during a guest appearance on the Talk Fifty to Me podcast for its October 28 episode.

‘It really made me slow down and look at the bigger picture and look at things with kinder, gentler eyes,’ she continued. ‘I see so much more beauty than I did before. I’m a better version of myself now. And I wouldn’t trade it.’
