Alice Hirson, known for her roles on iconic shows like “Full House” and “Dallas,” has died at age 95.

Hirson passed away from natural causes at the Motion Picture and Television Country House and Hospital in Los Angeles last Friday, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter.

Originally from Long Island, her career in television spanned numerous generations. She appeared in 26 episodes of “Dallas,” 28 episodes of Ellen DeGeneres’ ABC sitcom “Ellen,” and was adored by fans of “Full House,” where she portrayed Claire Tanner, the matriarch of the on-screen Saget family, in two episodes.

Aside from these roles, she made guest appearances on shows like “Murphy Brown,” “Just Shoot Me!,” “The Secret Life of the American Teenager,” as well as various soap operas.

Not confined to just the small screen, Hirson starred in several films, including “Private Benjamin,” “Revenge of the Nerds,” and “Being There.” 

Hirson also appeared three times on Broadway, including as a member of the original cast of “The Investigation.”

Hirson married actor Stephen Elliot, who died in 2005. She then married Tony award winning dramatist Roger O. Hirson, with whom she had two children.

She is survived by sons David and Christopher and grandson Daniel.
