Ben Griffin kisses fiancée after career-milestone PGA Tour win

Sealed with a kiss — and a flute of bubbly.

Ben Griffin and his fiancée Dana Myeroff were all smiles as they marked his second PGA Tour win at the Charles Schwab Challenge in Fort Worth. Griffin secured the victory by a narrow margin of one stroke over Matthias Schmid, finishing with an impressive 12-under par overall.

Joined by Myeroff on the 18th green at Colonial after sinking his final putt in the fourth round, the 29-year-old Griffin kissed his future bride before toasting with champagne inside the tournament’s prize, a 1992 Schwab Defender 110 vehicle.

“To see it all come together is a dream,” Myeroff said, according to the PGA Tour’s website, “It’s just a dream.”

Sunday’s victory at Colonial marked Griffin’s first individual Tour win. He and Andrew Novak were the joint victors of the Zurich Classic last month in New Orleans, which Myeroff was on hand to see.

“The passion, perseverance, and heart you pour into everything you do inspires me every single day. It’s so special to watch your childhood dream come true. I will forever be your #1 fan,” Myeroff gushed of the April 27 victory on Instagram.

Griffin later responded, “Love you Dana! Wouldn’t be here without you.”

Myeroff supported Griffin throughout Sunday’s roller coaster, which included two bogeys on the back nine for a one-over 71.

The Chapel Hill native, now in his second year on The Tour, credited loved ones Sunday as he rocked the tournament’s signature tartan jacket.

“My parents did so much for me growing up. I know they sacrificed a lot for me, and I credit a lot of my success down the stretch today to my short game. It kept me in it, and that’s what I did as a kid. That’s what helped my short game be so good down the stretch today,” said Griffin, who once left the sport due to burnout before returning in 2021.

Sunday’s win comes less than a year after Griffin popped the question to Myeroff.

He proposed at The Cloister at Sea Island in Georgia last July.

Griffin and Myeroff have been together for some time, with Myeroff celebrating his promotion to the PGA Tour in 2022.

“So proud of you Ben,” she shared in August of that year.
