The release of a 300,000-page Epstein document prominently featuring Bill Clinton has sparked controversy, with a spokesperson for the former president alleging that Donald Trump is attempting to use Clinton as a “scapegoat.”
On Friday, the Department of Justice unveiled this extensive document collection, which includes photographs and evidence linked to the conviction of the notorious sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
These materials were shared devoid of any accompanying dates, context, or background information. According to the Epstein Files Transparency Act, only the identities of victims or minors were to be concealed.
Clinton stands out as one of the few recognizable individuals in the documentation, appearing in at least a dozen images. While these photographs could be mortifying for the former president, their presence in the release does not inherently suggest any wrongdoing on his part, especially since Clinton has consistently denied any illegal conduct.
Among the most notable images is one depicting Clinton partially unclothed in a pool alongside Epstein’s associate, Ghislaine Maxwell, and several women whose identities have been obscured.
The former president’s chief of staff, Angel Urena, released a statement on Clinton’s involvement with Epstein.
Urena claimed that by releasing the files, the White House is ‘shielding themselves’
‘The White House hasn’t been hiding these files for months only to dump them late on a Friday to protect Bill Clinton,’ he said in the statement posted to X.

Despite controversy surrounding their friendship, Trump (pictured left) barely appeared in the recently released Epstein files
‘This is about shielding themselves from what comes next, or from what they’ll try and hide forever.
‘So they can release as many grainy 20-plus-year old photos as they want, but this isn’t about Bill Clinton. Never has, never will be.’
Clinton was also pictured in ‘grainy’ photos posing next to Michael Jackson, Diana Ross and a redacted woman on what appeared to be a private jet.
He even appeared as a portrait. In the painting, Clinton is pointing forward while lounging in a blue dress and red high heels.
In another shocking photo, he is seen smiling in silk shirts with Epstein himself.
The files showed Clinton posed in Winston Churchill’s War Rooms with Kevin Spacey and chatting at dinner next to Mick Jagger.
Despite his frequent cameos in the pages and pages of documents, Urena said Clinton stopped associating with Epstein as soon as his shady behavior came out.
‘There are two types of people here,’ the statement continued.

‘The first knew nothing and cut Epstein off before his crimes came to light. The second group continued relationships with him after.
‘We’re in the first. No amount of stalling by people in the second group will change that.’
The loaded statement seemed to accuse the current president of continuing a relationship with Epstein even after the financier’s disgrace.
‘Everyone, especially MAGA, expects answers, not scapegoats,’ Urena concluded.
Trump previously claimed that Clinton visited Epstein’s private island ‘supposedly 28 times.’
Clinton has denied accusations of his frequent visits to Little St. James, per Axios.
The president’s chief of staff Susie Wiles clarified in a recent interview with Vanity Fair that ‘there is no evidence’ those visits ever occurred.
Trump also said on social media that Bill and Hillary Clinton ‘spent large portions of their life with Epstein,’ per the New York Times.

House Democrats released a series of emails in November which outlined the sitting president’s relationship with Epstein.
According to BBC, the two fell out of friendship in the early 2000s before his initial arrest in 2006. But Trump’s name appeared in emails between Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell in 2011.
‘I want you to realize that that dog that hasn’t barked is Trump.. [VICTIM] spent hours at my house with him,’ one email read.
Other emails Epstein sent himself alleged that Trump had met his victims, one in particular that worked at Mar-a-Lago.
‘Trump knew of it. and came to my house many times during that period,’ he wrote.
Trump, however, barely appeared in the lengthy document that the DOJ released December 19.
He can be seen in a picture or two featured on Epstein’s desk and among his personal scrapbooks. But his presence is nowhere near as prominent as Clinton’s.
As Trump has vehemently denied a long term friendship with Epstein, he ordered an investigation into Clinton and other Democrats who were associated with him.
