According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, a Bills fan who was seen striking Ravens players on their helmets and was subsequently pushed by quarterback Lamar Jackson on Sunday night, has received an indefinite ban from all NFL stadiums.

The incident began when a fan in a red Josh Allen jersey slapped Ravens receiver DeAndre Hopkins on the head. Hopkins was celebrating a one-handed touchdown grab late in the third quarter with his teammates in front of the Orchard Park crowd.

Following this, the fan also hit Jackson, prompting an unwelcoming reaction from the quarterback, who shoved the fan in response. The fan was promptly removed from the game, while Jackson faced no penalties.

“He slapped me, and he was talking — so, I just forgot where I was for a little bit,” Jackson said after the Ravens collapsed in a 41-40 loss. “You have to think in those situations. You have security out there; let security handle it. But I just let my emotions get the best of me. Hopefully, it doesn’t happen again. I learned from that.”

Hopkins’ touchdown put Baltimore up 34-19, and they held a 40-25 lead going into the last five minutes of the game before Buffalo stormed back.

Josh Allen’s touchdown pass to Keon Coleman with 3:56 left brought the Bills to within eight points.

A Derrick Henry fumble led to an Allen rushing touchdown with 1:58 remaining, but the two-point conversion failed and Buffalo still trailed by two.

The Bills then forced the Ravens into a three-and-out and used all of their timeouts to get the ball back, and Matt Prater kicked a 32-yard field goal as time expired to give Buffalo the win.
