Lawmakers from both political parties are voicing their apprehensions regarding President Trump’s decision to initiate military strikes against suspected drug cartel ships in the Caribbean without legislative approval.

During Sunday talk shows, numerous senators questioned the legitimacy of this U.S. military operation, which executed its tenth strike in recent months on boats accused of smuggling narcotics into the United States, all without Congress’s consent.

Although Democrats were more vocal in their criticism, some Republicans also shared their unease about the ongoing campaign.
