Birmingham Police searching for 2 suspects involved in armed robbery

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — The Birmingham Police Department is requesting the public’s help in identifying two suspects who were involved in an armed robbery on July 3.

According to the BPD, West Precinct officers were dispatched to the Dollar General located at 2413 Warrior Road at around 10 p.m. on a report of a robbery. Two armed male suspects entered the store and took approximately $600. The store clerk sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The suspects fled the scene.
