Several co-stars from Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni’s upcoming 2024 movie, “It Ends With Us,” have been called to testify as part of an ongoing legal dispute involving the film’s production.

Over the summer, actresses Jenny Slate, aged 43, and Isabela Ferrer, 25, were questioned. A source revealed to People that Colleen Hoover, the 45-year-old author whose novel inspired the movie directed by Baldoni, 41, has also recently given a deposition.

Blake Lively, 38, has already been formally deposed outside of court as part of the discovery process in the ongoing lawsuit, according to insider information shared with the publication.

Additional depositions include Lively’s longtime publicist Leslie Sloane, her talent agent Warren Zavala, and makeup artist Vivian Baker, who collaborated with her on the film set.

Notably absent from the deposition list are Lively’s husband, Ryan Reynolds, and her former close friend, Taylor Swift, both of whom have been linked to the case but have not been required to testify.

The Daily Mail has reached out to reps for Lively, Reynolds, Baldoni, Slate and Ferrer for further comment on the story.

Baldoni, along with his co-defendants — producer Jamey Heath, publicist Jennifer Abel, and executives Melissa Nathan, Steve Sarowitz and Jed Wallace — also participated in depositions.

Baldoni’s former agent Danny Greenberg recently made headlines for his testimony, during which he criticized Lively’s alleged ‘extortion-like behavior’ during production,’ according to a deposition obtained by the Daily Mail.

Greenberg said he assisted Baldoni, who directed the motion picture, in composing emails to Sony to flag behavior on Lively’s part that he described as ‘continued extortion and effort to gain control of the film’.

Greenberg subsequently qualified his use of the word, saying it was in reference to the conduct and growing tension between the companies Wayfair and Sony, as opposed to actual criminal extortion.

‘My use of the word extortion there was referencing just cumulative behavior that both the studio and [Wayfarer Studios] and Justin was having to manage,’ Greenberg said.

Lively claimed Baldoni had sexually harassed her while making It Ends with Us, which was a surprise hit when it arrived in theaters in August last year.

The motion picture, based off the 2016 novel by Colleen Hoover, earned $148 million in domestic box office, and $350 million globally – but whatever goodwill the film garnered has since been overshadowed by the allegations made by its stars.

In December last year, Lively named Baldoni in a lawsuit accusing him of sexual harassment, retaliatory conduct, and intentional infliction of emotional stress.

In her lawsuit, the Gossip Girl star accused Baldoni of sexually harassing her in multiple ways – including body shaming her – and orchestrating a smear campaign against her to damage her reputation.

In her lawsuit, Lively named a number of Baldoni’s collaborators, including his company Wayfarer Studios, the studio’s CEO and financial backer, and PR personnel Nathan and Abel.

Baldoni had initially asked for $250 million in damages from The New York Times, then added it into the $400 million lawsuit he filed this past January.

In the suit, Baldoni named Lively, her spouse Ryan Reynolds and publicist Sloane, citing the aforementioned report in legal documents. It was thrown out of court this past June.

All parties have denied all of the allegations against them.
