BLUE SPRINGS, Mo. — A Blue Springs School District school bus crashed into a building Thursday morning.
The crash happened near Missouri 7 Highway and U.S. 40 Highway around 6:45 a.m.
The bus was carrying students who attend Blue Springs South High School.
Blue Springs police said the bus driver and three students were taken to a hospital for injuries. They said there are no serious injuries.
FOX4 crews at the scene say the school bus crashed into a dental office. The building also houses a chiropractic office and an insurance company.
The owner of Comfort Dental sent this statement to FOX4:
“We are thankful that no one was seriously injured in today’s accident. Our hearts are with the students, families, and staff who were impacted. We also extend our gratitude to the Blue Springs Fire Department, Police and local authorities for their quick and dedicated response.
The safety of our community is our highest priority. We will not reopen until we are confident our building is safe for everyone.”
