Bianca Censori's 'confidence' turned to 'fear' at Grammys 2025: body language expert

What was going through Bianca Censori’s head when she dropped her coat to reveal a completely see-through dress at the Grammys 2025 red carpet?

Body language expert Judi James observed a marked change in the model’s demeanor at Sunday’s awards show. What initially appeared as confidence and superiority reportedly morphed into fear and nervousness.

“Her glance up at Kanye [West] before she removed [her outerwear] suggested a flicker of what looked like nerves,” James told the Daily Mail Tuesday.

“It looked like nervousness made her break her own posing rule by laughing at one point,” she continued.

James noted that the model’s expression shifted to one of suppressed fear following a bold statement involving baring it all. This change in emotional state was further evidenced by the crossing of her legs and the awkward placement of her hands on her hips.

These subtle cues, according to James, hinted at a moment of last-minute anxiety experienced by the model before the attention-grabbing act.

As for West’s body language, James told the outlet that the rapper’s “moody expression showed barely a flicker of change” during the headline-making moment.

Lip reader Nicola Hickling told the Daily Mail Monday that the Grammy winner, 47, seemingly told Censori to “drop [the coat] behind you and then turn.”

“Make a scene. … I got you,” West allegedly said as Censori shook her head before appearing to say, “Alright, let’s go.”

The couple immediately exited the event, with Censori swapping her mesh dress for a sheer thong bodysuit at an afterparty where she and West packed on the PDA.

The architectural designer, who married the Yeezy creator in December 2022, proved she didn’t have a care in the world as she sang and danced the night away.

Many have expressed concern over the pair’s viral step-and-repeat stunt, for which TMZ reported she will not face legal consequences.

Meghan McCain blasted West as “a repugnant, vile piece of garbage” who has taken his partner “hostage” in a since-deleted social media upload.

The “View” co-host Alyssa Farrah Griffin, for her part, expressed concern on Monday’s show following the “uncomfortable” moment.

That same day, Armie Hammer’s ex-wife, Elizabeth Chambers, insisted to her Instagram followers that West was exhibiting “control at its finest.”
