A botched burglary at a Queens gas station ended with several people stabbed and the suspect shot by police Friday night, according to sources.
The attempted break-in unfolded near 149th Street in Jamaica, sources said. Emergency vehicles flooded the residential street at around 10 p.m.
Authorities at the scene said four people were taken to nearby hospitals with stab wounds.
A distraught neighbor said she had “never seen anything like this” during her 30 years living in the area.
“I went to visit my husband in Long Island in the hospital and came back home and now I can’t get to my house,” 60-year-old Rosie told The Post, calling the situation “overwhelming.”
“We all know each other on this block and we say hi,” she added.
Police have cordoned off the street as the investigation remains active.
