LOS ANGELES – The NFL Honors event will get a taste of Bay Area hip-hop as renowned rap icons E-40 and Too $hort take to the stage, adding their unique flair to the league’s prestigious awards ceremony. This anticipated performance is set to electrify the evening on Thursday night in San Francisco.
The glamorous event, set against the backdrop of the Palace of Fine Arts, will be broadcast live at 9 p.m. ET on both NBC and the NFL Network. For those unable to catch it on television, the show will also be available for streaming on Peacock.
Hosting the night’s festivities will be actor Jon Hamm, who will guide audiences through a celebration of the NFL’s standout performances from the 2025 season. The evening will also see the announcement of the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2026, alongside the prestigious Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award.
The event promises a star-studded lineup of presenters, including Tiffany Haddish, Tracy Morgan, Druski, Rich Eisen, and Madelyn Cline. Joining them will be a mix of current and former NFL stars such as Michael Strahan, Steve Young, Micah Parsons, and Kurt Warner, adding to the night’s allure.
With the addition of E-40 and Too $hort, the NFL Honors will not only highlight the achievements within the league but will also celebrate the cultural vibrancy of the Bay Area. Their performance is set to be a memorable highlight of Super Bowl week, showcasing the region’s legendary hip-hop influence on one of the NFL’s most prestigious stages.
With a three decade-plus career, E-40 is known for his unorthodox rap flow, schooling listeners with life lessons through his street-wise perspective.
Too $hort has solidified himself as a rap icon with hit songs like “What’s My Favorite Word?,” “Blow the Whistle,” “Shake That Monkey” and “The Ghetto.”
The Super Bowl, which is being held at Levi’s Stadium in the San Francisco Bay Area on Sunday, features the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots. Bad Bunny is the halftime performer.
