Video above: Chicagoland immigration raids result in over 3,000 arrests within two months
CHICAGO (WGN) – An immigration enforcement operation in Little Village turned dangerous on Saturday afternoon when shots were reportedly fired at U.S. Border Patrol agents.
According to the Department of Homeland Security, the incident occurred as agents were carrying out operations near the intersection of 26th Street and Kedzie Avenue. An unidentified individual in a black Jeep allegedly opened fire on the agents before speeding away.
