A U.S. Marshals Task Force officer is on the mend after being shot during a warrant operation in Cleveland on Wednesday morning. The incident occurred around 9 a.m. as law enforcement attempted to apprehend a suspect near East 92nd Street and Hillock Avenue, according to reports by the I-Team.

The officers were targeting a man wanted for a violent felony, as confirmed by sources to FOX 8’s investigative team. During the operation, the suspect reportedly barricaded himself inside an apartment, adding tension to the unfolding drama.
