All the energy sites attacked by Iran as Tehran wages economic war against US and Israel
Iran has launched attacks on five different energy facilities across the Gulf region, declaring its intent to engage in a “full-scale economic war” against the United States and Israel. This aggressive move comes as retaliation for an assault on Iran’s South Pars gas field that occurred yesterday.
This series of strikes represents a significant escalation in the ongoing conflict between the US, Israel, and Iran, which has been intensifying over the past 20 days.
In Qatar, officials reported that Iranian missiles targeted the Ras Laffan Industrial City, the nation’s primary gas facility, resulting in what they described as “significant damage”.
Meanwhile, the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation confirmed that a fire had erupted at the Mina al-Ahmadi refinery, situated approximately 50 kilometers (31 miles) south of Kuwait City. This incident was attributed to a drone strike, although fortunately, no injuries were reported.
The corporation further disclosed that another drone attack struck the Mina Abdullah refinery in southern Kuwait, also igniting a fire.
