Israeli oil refinery hit by missile in latest Iran attack
A missile strike earlier today ignited a fire at an Israeli oil refinery, marking a significant escalation in regional tensions.
Video footage, widely circulated by Israeli media, shows intense flames engulfing the Bazan refinery located in Haifa, a port city that has previously been targeted amid conflicts involving Iran.
According to reports from Channel 12 News, the attack was allegedly carried out by Iran and Hezbollah, the militant group based in Lebanon, which has been engaged in hostilities with Israel from southern Lebanon.
Authorities are currently investigating whether the blaze resulted from a direct missile impact or was triggered by debris following an interception attempt.
Despite the alarming incident, Israel’s Energy Minister Eli Cohen assured the public that the production facilities remain unharmed and that fuel supplies will continue uninterrupted.
