A tragic discovery has prompted an investigation in Jacksonville, Florida, as authorities work to uncover the circumstances surrounding a woman’s death. The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office (JSO) is currently looking into the case after a body was found beneath a bridge near the Cedar River on the city’s Westside.
The incident came to light on Sunday evening when officers responded to a call around 6:30 p.m. Upon arriving at the 3400 block of Blanding Boulevard, they discovered the body of a deceased Black woman. Despite the limited information available at this time, the JSO is treating the situation as an isolated incident and reassures the public that there is no ongoing threat to the community.
As the investigation unfolds, JSO is reaching out to the community for assistance. They urge anyone who might have information relevant to the case to contact them.
