JSO: One injured in overnight shooting near St. Johns Town Center

Authorities from the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office have reported a shooting incident that unfolded late Sunday night, just before midnight.

In Jacksonville, Florida, a shooting near the St. Johns Town Center resulted in one person sustaining non-life-threatening injuries, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.

The incident took place at a McDonald’s located on Town Center Parkway. Police revealed that a suspect fired shots into a vehicle occupied by five individuals for reasons that remain unclear.

The victim, who was struck in the leg, sought medical attention at a nearby hospital, where law enforcement officers later interviewed them regarding the incident.
