Britney Spears had some unusual baggage with her as she touched down in Mexico with her entourage on Thursday.

The famous pop star, who has been sharing pictures and videos of her adventures in the country recently, caused worry when she arrived in the country with a friend and a toy baby doll.

Her friend was seen carrying the doll, which was wrapped in a soft blanket.  

Britney kept a low-profile in a black hoodie teamed with shorts, heeled sandals, and sunglasses.

The doll may be the one Britney previously showed off to Instagram followers back in 2021 with video of her dancing with the toy.

She mentioned in the caption that she is approaching 40: ‘I’m turning 40 this year … age is just a number but seriously … growing up is the silliest thing you’ll ever do so KEEP PLAYING, MY FRIENDS.’

Since jetting into Mexico, Britney has been posting an array of bikini snaps from her getaway, including a nude one of her on the beach.

The strategically-cropped photo was captioned ‘Naked on the beach all day.’ 

The latest sighting come comes amid fresh questions over Britney’s former conservatorship.

On November 12, 2021, Britney marked ‘the best day ever’ when a judge brought an end to her controversial arrangement. Fans celebrated outside the courtroom while her father Jamie’s image was tarnished as the villain who had managed every aspect of her life for 14 years.

Jamie spears insisted his control of Britney’s finances, career and personal liberties was to protect her wellbeing, yet his daughter claimed it was ‘abusive’ and likened her situation to being a ‘sex trafficking victim’.

After detailing how she was made to work against her will, forced into taking birth control and had no control over seeing her sons or friends, fans launched a #FreeBritney campaign, and rejoiced in their idol’s eventual emancipation.

However, more than three years on, some are now beginning to question whether they were too quick to celebrate, following erratic social media posts where she’s danced with knives, claimed she burned down her bathroom and ranted about ‘fake friends’.

Jamie Spears, who is now living in a trailer and in poor health, remains estranged from his daughter, but last year he made a telling statement saying that his ‘work as conservator has ultimately been vindicated’, a viewpoint fans seem to be coming around to.

‘Letting a documentary create public pressure to undo her conservatorship was a huge mistake. Turns out it was wrong to Free Britney,’ others added in the wake of rambling videos where she’s affected a British accent and spoken ‘like a little child’.

Meanwhile, Spears has also reportedly broke up with on-off flame Paul Soliz yet again, just weeks after they briefly rekindled their romance in February.

But this time, insiders say it’s for good.

Sources close to the situation told TMZ that Soliz has already removed his belongings from Britney’s home in the L.A. area, where the couple had been shacking up.

To add more fuel to the fire, Paul’s personal drama doesn’t stop with Britney.

Their latest split comes nearly a year after Britney sparked concern in May 2024, when she was photographed barefoot and visibly distressed outside the Chateau Marmont in Hollywood — following what was allegedly a heated fight with Soliz.

Paul and Britney first connected in 2023 when he began working at her home in a housekeeping and maintenance capacity.

Over time, things became more serious, and Britney was even pictured spending time with Paul’s children at an indoor playground. 

They first split in July 2024 before reconciling in February.
