Callum Turner Opens Up About ‘Incredible’ Experience at Dua Lipa and Romain Gavras’ Wedding

He’s feeling like he’s walking on air.

For the first time since their romantic ceremony earlier this summer, Callum Turner has shared his excitement about marrying Dua Lipa in what he describes as an “amazing” Italian wedding.

In an interview with Esquire released on Tuesday, the “One Night Only” actor expressed his joy about their wedding day, calling it “the most beautiful day of [his] life.” Turner’s enthusiasm was palpable as he recounted the event.

He remarked on the “pretty surreal” public reaction to their nuptials, highlighting the widespread interest in their special day.

“Just yesterday, we were strolling through the park, and everyone we passed kept saying, ‘Congratulations,'” revealed the “Eternity” star, 36. “It’s quite strange to have something so personal become a topic of public conversation, but it’s also incredibly heartwarming.”

Turner also said starting a family was among his priorities for the next decade. “Obviously, yeah. I’m 36. I’d like to have a family and raise some kids,” he told the outlet.

Turner and the “New Rules” vocalist, 30, tied the knot in May in an intimate ceremony at Old Marylebone Town Hall in London, England.

At the time, an insider told The US Sun that Turner “was in tears and shaky” as his now-wife walked down the aisle.

Another source told the outlet that the couple’s “low-key” ceremony, attended by “their closest family and friends,” was followed by a “chic and simple” intimate celebration.

In the days following their initial nuptials, Turner and Lipa said “I do” again in a larger ceremony in Palermo, Italy.

The celebration drew a star-studded guest list, including Charli XCX, Mark Ronson and Sir Elton John, who serenaded the newlyweds with his iconic hit “Your Song.”

The pair later jetted off to Taormina in Sicily for their honeymoon at the San Domenico Palace, where they were photographed getting handsy.

In January 2024, a source confirmed to Page Six that Turner and Lipa were dating, adding that the couple were “mad about each other.”

The insider also noted that the “Don’t Start Now” hitmaker supported her then-boyfriend at the premiere of his Apple TV+ limited series “Masters of the Air.”

Lipa confirmed her engagement to Turner in an April 2025 British Vogue interview, saying she was “very excited” about their impending nuptials.

“This decision to grow old together, to see a life and just, I don’t know, be best friends forever… it’s a really special feeling,” she told the outlet.
