Cara Delevingne has reportedly invested $11 million in purchasing her friend Jennifer Lawrence’s Beverly Hills estate, approximately a year after losing her own residence in the vicinity due to a fire.

The British model, 33, will be in good company in her new swanky abode which boasts A-list neighbours like Adele, Nicole Kidman and Cameron Diaz.

The property, which was also once owned by singer Jessica Simpson, has five bedrooms as well as five and half bathrooms.

As detailed by North Hill Crest, the property features a master suite with a walk-in closet and a private balcony that offers views of the lush landscape. The Hunger Games actress originally acquired this house in 2014.

It comes after Cara’s $7million mansion was left virtually destroyed after a huge blaze tore apart the property in March 2024.

In the wake of the fire the stunner absorbed a $2.4 million loss in selling the property, according to Realtor.com.

The blaze left the mansion without a roof, with a second story left in tatters and the downstairs cluttered with detritus.

No one was seriously injured in the blaze, as Cara had been overseas in her native London at the time it struck, working on a West End production of Cabaret, and her pets were confirmed to be OK.

The model said last year that being sober and present amid the traumatic life event ultimately helped her rebound and recover emotionally.

‘It sucks but everyone was safe and, like anything, if I’d not been sober I would still be reeling over that,’ she told The Times. ‘It would still affect me really deeply.’

Cara said at the time that while she remains upset by the blaze, she’s focused on moving forward rather than wallowing in sadness about what happened: ‘Of course it affected me, it’s super sad … it never won’t be. But I don’t use it as a tool to keep myself sad.’

Officials with the Los Angeles Fire Department said in April that the cause of the fire had been ‘undetermined’ following a probe, according to TMZ, adding that foul play had not been suspected.

No one witnessed anything related to the blaze, authorities said, and there was not forensic evidence to provide any clues into the investigation.

Cara’s parents Pandora and Charles were asked by reporters in London in March what had caused the fire.

Her father Charles pointed to ‘electrical’ issues, adding that ‘something fell on a powerline’ while the area was undergoing ‘very windy’ weather conditions.

Pandora at the time said she was concerned for her daughter following the house fire: ‘I think she’s probably devastated – she had everything in her house, her whole life – she built it, she made it. She has everything in it.’

Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Nicholas Prange that a firefighter had been hospitalized in fair condition with an unspecified injury, and a person who was in the home had minor smoke inhalation, according to the AP.

Prange said that when the fire department arrived at the house, the blaze was raging in the back end of the home, having decimated a room and the attic area. After clearing the residence, firefighters took a defensive position in battling the blaze, with the roof collapsing in at one point.

Prange said that firefighters battled the blaze for more than two hours before it had been extinguished.

Cara took to Instagram Stories after the blaze to express her gratitude toward first responders in the wake of the fire.

‘Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all the firefighters and people that have showed up to help,’ she said.

She said that she was heartbroken by the incident, advising her followers that ‘life can change in the blink of an eye … so cherish what you have.’
