Savannah Guthrie’s colleagues on the Today show have rallied around her with heartfelt messages of support following the release of unsettling new images connected to her mother, Nancy Guthrie’s, disappearance. The FBI recently unveiled these photos, which have intensified the search efforts.

On Tuesday, authorities made public images captured from the front door on the morning that 84-year-old Nancy vanished. These images have become a crucial part of the ongoing investigation.

The surveillance footage reveals a masked individual, armed, tampering with the doorbell, raising concerns about Nancy’s safety and whereabouts.

Among the first to respond was Today co-host Craig Melvin, who shared the images on Instagram, urging his followers to provide any information to the police that might assist in the investigation.

‘Anyone with information, please contact 1-800-CALL-FBI (1-800-225-5324) or the Pima County Sheriff’s Department 520-351-4900,’ he captioned his post.

Jenna Bush Hager also posted the pictures on her Instagram story along with the caption, ‘please help bring Nancy home.’

Dylan Dreyer also took to Instagram, sharing the footage in her story, while Sunday Today host Willie Geist added, “Someone knows him. His eyes, his clothes, his gait are clues that could lead to his identification.”

‘Call 1-800-CALL-FBI. Bring Nancy home.’

Nancy was abducted from her $1 million Tucson, Arizona, home in the early hours of Sunday February 1, with officials confirming they have not identified any suspects in the ongoing case.

In the newly released footage, the suspect ripped the Nest camera from its holder on the frame of the front door.

It was missing by the time sheriff’s deputies arrived on the scene that morning.

Subsequent video released by officials showed the individual attempting to cover the lens with a clenched fist before searching the area around the door and ripping a bunch of flowers from the entrance way and waving them at the camera.

Another clip shared by the FBI showed the individual hunched over as they made their first approach to the door, bowing their head as they did.

Nancy did not have a subscription to Nest which would have uploaded the images and saved them to a cloud storage platform.

This meant investigators took longer to extract the images from her camera.

In a statement alongside the newly released photographs, Pima County Sheriff’s Department said: ‘Over the last eight days, the FBI and Pima County Sheriff’s Department have been working closely with our private sector partners to continue to recover any images or video footage from Nancy Guthrie’s home that may have been lost, corrupted, or inaccessible due to a variety of factors, including the removal of recording devices.

‘Working with our partners – as of this morning, law enforcement has uncovered these previously inaccessible new images showing an armed individual appearing to have tampered with the camera at Nancy Guthrie’s front door the morning of her disappearance.’

On Monday night, Today show co-star Guthrie asked the nation for help in finding her missing mother as her family is in an ‘hour of desperation.’

‘We need your help. Law enforcement is working tirelessly around the clock to bring her home, trying to find her. She was taken, and we don’t know where,’ she said.

‘I’m coming on, just ask you not just for your prayers but, no matter where you are, even if you’re far from Tucson, if you see anything, if you hear anything, if there is anything at all that seems strange to you, that you report to law enforcement.’

She concluded: ‘We are at an hour of desperation, and we need your help.’
