After moving to the United States from China in 1991, Bai Ling has built a reputation for herself as both an actress and a musician. Apart from her successful career, she has also had a series of high-profile romantic relationships.

In her upcoming memoir titled My Outrageous Romances In Hollywood, which covers a span of four decades, Bai Ling is set to disclose the identities and intriguing details of her relationships with well-known celebrities. The book promises to shed light on some of her most notable romances with famous personalities.

One of the celebrities already mentioned to be featured in the memoir is Mickey Rourke, known for his role in The Wrestler. Bai Ling has hinted that the book will also reveal additional surprising names that will captivate readers with their unexpected connections to the actress.

‘They will be nervous. I will be nervous. It will be shocking. It is a story I need to tell,’ the Chengdu, Sichuan, China native, 58, said in a video interview with the US Sun. 

Over the years Ling has also been linked to the likes of comedian Bill Maher, Backstreet Boys singer Nick Carter, four-time Grammy winner Lionel Richie, and musician Chris Isaak, among many others.

During her acting career, which dates back to her film debut in China in 1984, Ling has gone on to appear alongside some of the biggest stars in show business such as Will Smith, Jude Law, Ewan McGregor, Jason Statham, Sir Anthony Hopkins, Samuel L. Jackson, Jeremy Piven, and Billy Zane.

‘I just feel at this stage of my life, it’s about time to tell these fascinating stories about those men everybody knows,’ she explained.

‘I think maybe I met all these famous people, most of who I am going to write about, [for a reason], so people will know how a girl from China came here without knowing anyone and go to meet all these men.’

With some ‘200 pages’ already written, Ling promises to share her ‘full unique story’, which she confessed was inspired by Britney Spears, and that she doesn’t hold back with the details of her sexual encounters with ‘all these men – rock stars, movie stars.’

It turns out she won’t be divulging every single high-profile lover in the memoir, but it’s not for a lack of trying.

“Right now I have to delete some. I cannot include everybody,’ she admitted. ‘I don’t remember how many lovers I have had. There are many, and nobody has experienced a love story like that.’

Fearing backlash, Ling sought legal advice before making the decision to name specific celebrities in her writing.

‘I was worried in the process if there were issues, but then I asked a lawyer. He said you can use a real name if it is true. I am going to, because it’s the truth,’ she said during the interview.

‘With all these man in my life, I write it as truthful as possible. Actually in a very positive, romantic light.’

More recently, Ling has starred in no less than five films since 2024, including The Haunted Studio, Baba Yaga, Patsy Lee & The Keepers Of The 5 Kingdoms, The Omicron Killer, and Unspeakable: Beyond The Wall Of Sleep.
