Despite rumors, Celeste Rivas Hernandez was not at D4vd concert: Source

() Internet sleuths were mistaken in thinking that Celeste Rivas Hernandez was in attendance at a D4vd concert late last month.

A viral video showed a woman who looked like Hernandez in the crowd just weeks before her decomposed body was found in the trunk of a car owned by the singer.

The video, filmed Aug. 23 or Aug. 24, took place in Maryland and shows D4vd paying attention to a specific female in the audience.

“There’s a woman in the balcony who he actually acknowledged, looks up at her,” TMZ’s Charles Latibeaudiere said in a Wednesday appearance on “Banfield.”

“She certainly could have been Celeste. It looked like it. And a lot of people immediately latched on to this. “We have been told by a source who is connected to the case that it is not Celeste.”

The girl in the video had hair that looked similar to images of Hernandez, while she was also wearing a black tube top. Police said Hernandez was wearing the same shirt when she was found dead in D4vd’s Tesla on Sept. 8.

D4vd left Hollywood home after ‘Celeste’ probe

The R&B singer earlier this week broke the lease of his Hollywood Hills home, nearly a week after the home was raided by the Los Angeles Police Department’s homicide unit.

Latibeaudiere told Ashleigh Banfield that police swooped on the house D4vd had been staying at Sept. 17 in search of anything resembling “blood evidence.”

“They were checking drains to see if there’s any blood evidence or blood or tissue that was in the drains there,” he said. “So, they did a scouring of this house, looking for any evidence.”

While police haven’t officially linked D4vd and Hernandez, a leaked D4vd song mentions Celeste multiple times, Latibeaudiere said. The track, which leaked on Soundcloud in December 2023, was titled “Celeste_Demo unfin.

D4vd canceled rest of tour

D4vd has canceled the remainder of his U.S. tour following a raid on his house last week.

The singer was on tour when he was contacted by police, who told him a decomposing body was found in his car. His team decided to cancel the two remaining dates of his “Withered” tour, as well as his dates in Paris, scheduled for Oct. 24 and Oct. 25.

Most of his global tour dates have been canceled, according to Ticketmaster.
