() The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is still pushing for small businesses to have tariff relief despite the White House insisting this will come via tax cuts.

The chamber’s executive vice president, Neil Bradley, joined “The Hill” to discuss the impact of President Trump’s tariffs on small businesses.

“They have the optimism. … They want to see resolution. But listen, they just don’t have that long to wait,” Bradley told “The Hill.”

When asked what he would say to small business owners unsure about the future, Bradley relayed a message of caution.

“You can’t assume anything about the future, so we can have hope about the resolution of these tariffs. But it does seem that some of the tariffs may be here to stay for a while,” he said.

“That’s why, at the U.S. Chamber, we’re arguing for this exemption for small businesses. We think they need that, but if we’re not able to get that, they’re going to have to adjust their business plans.”
