LOS ANGELES — The world of Pandora is heating up.

James Cameron’s “Avatar: Fire and Ash” released its first trailer, teasing a new chapter in the record-breaking franchise.

The trailer, which debuted on the big screen with “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” this past weekend, offers a stunning preview of the adventure ahead. Fans get their first glimpse at never-before-seen Na’vi clans, breathtaking landscapes and new creatures that expand the world of Pandora.

Returning are Sam Worthington as Jake Sully and Zoe Saldaña as Neytiri, joined by Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, Kate Winslet and more as the Sully family faces fresh challenges in a changing world.

Written by James Cameron, Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver, with a story by Cameron, Jaffa, Silver, Josh Friedman and Shane Salerno, “Avatar: Fire and Ash” promises to deliver the epic scope and groundbreaking visuals audiences have come to expect.
